Michael Faschingbauer is the author of Effectuation, which is probably one of the most important books of 2010. In the book he takes farewell of the past and develops methods for the creation of desirable futures. Building on his experiences as a consultant and coach he feels confident that Effectuation – compared to conventional strategy tools – is the more efficient way to handle complex and multifaceted situations.

Manuel Götzendörfer

UnternehmerTUM – Center for Innovation and Business Creation at TU Munich.

Michael Götzendörfer dealt with Design and Innovationmanagement during his dissertation. Furthermore he is co-founder and managing director at Temotions GmbH & Co. KG.

UnternehmerTUM, the center for innovation and founding at TU München, ist the only founder center in Germany, that qualifies entrepeneurial talents, actively identifies  promising technologies and systematically initializes innovation- and founding projects. UnternehmerTUM anually inspires more than 1.000 students and scientists in seminars and lectures on enterpreneurial thinking and acting. This matching of technologies and talents leads to 50 innovation and founding projects a year.

 


 

Prof. Uli Mayer-Johanssen

Co-Founder and Chairwoman of Meta-Design

Uli Mayer-Johanssen was elected »woman of the year 2010« by the magazine Horizont, probably because of the success of Meta-Design, an agency that she founded 20 years ago. Since this time she uses design as a perspective to develop strategies. We are looking forward to exciting insights from her professional experience and to the design of strategy stories.

Prof. Eckard Minx

Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler & Benz Foundation

Eckard Minx is a renown expert for futurology, innovation management and the development of organizations. Besides his activities as the Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler & Benz Foundation he is honorary professor at the institute of transportational design at the University of Arts in Braunschweig and for sociology of the technology at HTW Berlin. Minx is famous for the scenario technique, according to which one has to outline three possible futures (best case, likely, worst cast) to be able to develop courses of action.

Prof. Günther Ortmann

Professor for business studies at Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg

Günther Ortmann is one of the most distinctive organizational theorists of Germany. For the last decade and a half he worked as a researcher and lecturer at Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg. In January 2011 he joined the advisory council of our magazine Revue für postheroisches Management. Recently his last book Die Kunst des Entscheidens (The art of decision-making) was published. As an expert for organizations and strategy he will comment and question the newer approaches of our other guests.

Prof. Reinhard Prügl

Chair for Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship at Zeppelin University

Reinhard Prügl works as a researcher and lecturer at Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen. His interests cover innovation management, entrepreneurship and marketing. Being one of the many co-authors of the famous Business Model Generation he will share first-hand insights, disappointments and experiences of the co-creative process that resulted in the publication of this book.

Before that, she was ein und verantwortet seit 2007 die Bereiche Marketing Planning & Innovation der Telekom Austria Group AG. Zuvor war sie am Aufbau einer neuen Mobilfunkmarke von mobilkom austria in Serbien beteiligt.

 
 


 

Prof. Peter F. Stephan

University of Arts and Media Cologne and University of Arts Berlin

Peter Friedrich Stephan is a design researcher and consultant in Berlin. He is an expert in cognitive design and design innovation, helping businesses and organizations to invent or remodel products, services, communication and strategies. As a professor he teaches at the University of Arts and Media in Cologne and in the Masters Program Leadership in Digital Communication at the University of Arts in Berlin. Stephan already was one of our experts at x-treat #1, but this time he will be asking the questions.
